Still, the 42-year-old—who is currently reprising his role as Kayce Dutton on the Yellowstone spinoff series Marshals—said it “would be cool” to have Costner return to the franchise in a flashback scene, though he noted, “I doubt that will happen at this point.”
Plus, Grimes shared that it might make more sense to have Kelsey Asbille reprise her role of Kayce’s wife Monica Dutton after the character was written out of the show.
