Former “Top Gear” host Jeremy Clarkson is back tinkering with automobiles in a newly-unveiled “Clarkson’s Farm” special.

Clarkson will use the base of a Jaguar F-Type V6S which he plans to fit out with leather interior and wool carpets produced on his Diddly Squat farm in Oxfordshire. He also intends to grow flax fibre which he will turn into a flax-composite and use as an alternative to carbon fibre. On his quest, Clarkson will be assisted by car designer Ian Callum, the brains behind the original F-Type and the Aston Martin Vanquish.

The show will be produced by Expectation with Andy Wilman, Peter Fincham and Zoe Brewer exec producing.

“We’re currently thinking about what do we do after ‘Clarkson’s Farm,’ and it’s going to have to be something bigger to stand out, to protect us from this onslaught from underneath,” Clarkson said at the Royal Television Society conference in London, referring to social media and the tech revolution. “It has to be unbelievably ambitious.”
