“I’m in London here till the end of the year doing a ‘Batman’ sequel,” Pattinson told GQ in an a recent interview. “It’s good. I’m definitely feeling my age when fighting a lot. I’m literally like, ‘Goddamn, this is significantly harder than it used to be.’ But it’s really fun. And I think the movie’s going to be pretty great. It’s got a really, really fun cast, but it’s a marathon.”
Matt Reeves is back in the director’s chair for “The Batman: Part II” and co-wrote the sequel’s screenplay with Mattson Tomlin. The supporting cast also includes Charles Dance, Brian Tyree Henry and Sebastian Koch. Plot details remain under wraps.
DC Studios co-chief James Gunn previously defended the release delays by explaining how it’s “fairly common” for big-budget titles to have lengthy gaps before a sequel is released.
