James McAvoy will join Variety for a conversation about his work and perspective on the evolving art of storytelling, including his work directing and producing “California Schemin.’” He also stars in the film “Faith,” premiering at TIFF.
“At Utopai Studios, we are building a new model for filmmaking that gives artists more ways to bring ambitious ideas to the screen while keeping their creative vision at the center of every production,” said Kevin Chong, COO of Utopai Studios. “The future of film will be shaped by the convergence of artistry, technology and new production methods, which is why we’re thrilled to partner with Variety at TIFF. We look forward to exploring how new tools, techniques and creative approaches are expanding what filmmakers can achieve and how their stories connect with audiences.”
