Billy Evans, Elizabeth Holmes’ romantic partner and the villainous third wheel in Nathan Fielder’s “You Can See Everything,” has taken to social media to answer burning questions about the documentary.

Evans said they celebrated Fielder’s birthday during production, “around the table in Del Mar with my family.” He said Fielder missed the Time 100 dinner — the magazine named the comedian one of the 100 most influential people in 2023 — so they celebrated that too.

Culture critic and podcast host Hunter Harris asked Evans whether he thought Christopher Abbott — who plays Evans in reenactments opposite Amanda Seyfried as Elizabeth Holmes — was miscast. Evasively, Evans replied, “Who is that?”

When one X user asked about his “facial bloating and the going insane part,” Evans responded, ” I got fat. Raising 2 kids alone, best friend in prison, depression, building a business. I ate more than I should. I was fat. Less so now. I prioritized my kids over my health. I’ve learned that I can find the time to do small things for myself again. And that eating after 10pm isn’t one of them.”

In “You Can See Everything,” Evans explains to Fielder that he has been posting on Holmes’ social media accounts while the Theranos founder is incarcerated. Evans said he does not need to get Holmes’ approval for the posts because, essentially, he knows what she would say. Plus, he holds power of attorney for Holmes.

“We talk about everything, including X. Nothing happened behind her back,” Evans wrote underneath a question about his control of her social media. “The POA was simply the legal mechanism that allowed me to act on her behalf while she’s incarcerated. It was not a substitute for her consent.”

Evans also weighed in on a few pop culture topics. Replying to music critic Anthony Fantano’s question, “is to pimp a butterfly a 10/10?,” Evans wrote, “Kendrick [Lamar] is a generational talent.” Asked about his “favorite pop diva,” Evans wrote, “Chappell Roan has one of the best live sets I have ever seen. The crowd was amazing. I bought our engagement ring at a Taylor Swift reputation tour merch stand. Aretha Franklin has the best voice.”

On a sincere note, Evans replied to a few questions about Holmes. He said the first thing he will do when she gets out of prison is “hold our kids tight and talk all night.” And he wrote, “I miss everything about her. I miss her presence. Her touch. The way she runs her fingers through my hair. Her patience. She makes me a better person. And without her, I feel an emptiness that’s hard to describe. People often say they need someone when what they really mean is that they want them. I’ve thought a lot about that distinction. I need Liz. She should qualify as a medically necessary prescription.”

What does he not miss about his partner? “Def not this,” he replied to someone suggesting “her scrambled eggs.”
